The Hive Smart Configurator Tool is a UX design solution that simplifies the appliance shopping experience through personalized recommendations and AR-powered space visualization. It helps users find appliances that fit their home by uploading a photo or entering dimensions, reducing guesswork and boosting confidence. The tool is available on both mobile and in-store kiosks, making it accessible across shopping touchpoints. User testing revealed strong satisfaction with the AR feature and led to refinements in layout, copy, and support options. Hive ultimately empowers both consumers and retailers with a faster, smarter, and more reliable shopping journey.
