Statement
My project focused on the subject of addressing food deserts. I created an app called Fresh in the City, which makes farm-fresh food more accessible by connecting local farms with consumers directly. In my research, I uncovered pain points and needs from survey data and user interviews. By addressing the current issues with other similar services, I believe I will make fresh food more available, affordable, and convenient.
