Statement
People need to feel close to one another again during the pandemic - in ways that transcend “hanging out” virtually. Bringing together socialization and cooking in a digital environment will bring a tactile and “real” aspect to digital interactions. "aparty" is meant to allow users to experience a new level of digital togetherness, feel the joy of dining together in a virtual setting, and be inspired to cook new and different dishes. Bridging the acts of recipe-sharing, event-planning, collaboration, and video chatting will provide a new way for users to interact digitally during the COVID-19 pandemic.
