Composing Exposure: The Data Behind The Score is an exploration of which film music composers we hear - and why. The interactive prototype hosted at susby.com/dav investigates the factors that influence the popularity of specific film music tracks and the composers who wrote the soundtracks to which those tracks belong. Initially sparked by a personal connection to film scores—especially Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard’s work on Gladiator—the project evolved into a broader investigation of gender disparities among film composers.
