Common Threads_Glover Capstone 2024
Statement

"About 2.5 million people die in the United States annually, each leaving an average of five grieving people behind. " While grief is something that touches everyone in their life, it is often difficult to have conversations about the experience of grief and seek out support. While some people may be very resourced in their community with grief resources, many do not know what might be available to them, or they may face barriers, like lack of financial resources, transportation, or geographic issues, or they might be uncomfortable to share their grief experience in a community or public setting.

This scrollytelling piece aims to highlight the numbers, patterns and insights gleaned from a self-collected and IRB approved survey on the experience of grief.
