Why does that sound good? This Capstone project creates an interactive prototype that maps, analyzes, and visualizes the invisible harmonic qualities of tonal music. Specifically, it explores why combinations of chords sound good through an exploratory, audio-visual format. Aimed at music lovers who may feel intimidated by traditional music theory, this project uses interactive visualizations to make harmonic movement intuitive and accessible.
