STUDENT MISCONDUCT 10/31/2021

A student attempted to sneak a non-mica person into their residence at Founders Green.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY 10/31/2021

Graffiti discovered in the 1200 block of Mount Royal Avenue. 

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT 10/30/2021

A students vehicle was damaged by another students vehicle while it was parked in Founders Green. The vehicle and the person responsible for the damage left the scene without first reporting the damage.

STUDENT MISCONDUCT 10/28/2021

A student tried to sneak their friend inside of their dorm by using another students MICA I.D.

A family member of a student contacted campus safety expressing concern about their welfare.

LOUD NOISE COMPLAINT  10/27/2021

A student complained about loud noise coming from another students apartment in Leake Hall. 

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT  10/26/2021

A person was shot while in the 1200 block of Mount Royal Avenue. Baltimore City Police responded to investigate.

INFORMATION ONLY 10/26/2021

Someone left several books in front of the Bunting Center that belongs to MICA. The books were last seen inside a car that was reported stolen the day before.

INFORMATION ONLY  10/24/2021

A student in the 1200 block reported that they heard a noise that sounded like a gun shot. Officers were in the area at the time and did not hear the same noise. The area was checked and nothing or no one  was located.

ASSIST OTHER AGENCY  10/24/2021

MICA Campus Safety assisted Baltimore City Police in locating a person who needed medical attention. The person was located in the 1500 block of Mount Royal Avenue.

A student was caught trying to sneak an unauthorized visitor into their residential building.

MICA security officer located a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run accident on Howard Street.

A window was damaged by a bullet on the 4th floor of the Brown Center. Baltimore City Police notified to assist with the investigation.

Report of a car stuck on the Light Rail tracks, located at Mt. Royal and Dolphin Street.

INTOXICATED PERSON 10/15/2021

An unknown subject was found on the ground in front of the Dolphin Building. The subject appeared to be highly intoxicated.

MICA student snuck a parent into their after being instructed that she could not come in by Campus Safety.

TRESPASSING 10/13/2021

130 McMechen Street
A group of students reported to Campus Safety that a male followed them inside the Founders Green pedestrian gate. Campus Safety responded and found the individual outside of Glace Grill. The individual was then apprehended.

Report of a small child left alone inside vehicle illegally parked on sidewalk outside art store. Officers responded.

HARASSMENT/THREATS  10/11/2021

Employee reports being harassed by parent of their child.

Officers received a call to report that there was graffiti written on the wall in the 1200 block of Mount Royal Avenue across from 1212 W. Mount Royal Avenue.

NOISE COMPLAINT 10/7/2021

Officer called about student who was told to report to the security desk by an RA if anymore noise coming from their apartment. The same student came to the security desk with a complaint. Dispatched officers to respond to that apartment; only one student present and complaint unfounded.

Resident living in the 1300 block of John Street called to report two students smoking marijuana in the park near their residence. Officer responded.

Employee called to report that they saw a male sitting on the bench on McMechen and Mount Royal flash a "6in hunting knife." Officer responded.

Student reported being assaulted by their roommate in June 2021.
