Postal & Print Services
It is the mission of MICA Postal & Print Services to serve the business shipping and printing and on-campus mail and package needs of MICA, provide excellent customer service and help to make MICA a great place to work and study.

Summer 2024

Page Summary:

  • Postal & Print is open to the public and Alumni.
  • Postal & Print is open Monday - Friday,  8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  •  Here's how to send packages to campus.
  • No limit on pre-labeled drop-off packages, personal or business
  • Postal & Print will remain open over the summer, 8:30-5:00, Mon-Fri
  • Residence Hall Package Rooms are closed for package deliveries through 8/20/24. New and returning students can start shipping for Fall 2024 to arrive on or after 8/21/24, the Wednesday before classes start.
  • USPS Prices increased on July 14, 2024. A 1st Class stamp was $0.68 and is now $0.73

Summer 2024 Packages

Students staying around for the summer can continue to receive packages over the summer. Please address your packages to:

Change of Address
When leaving your on- or off-campus address, please fill out a change of address card from Gateway, Meyerhoff or Founders' or your local address to your new street address or home address. Forms are available online at USPS.com ($1.10 fee) or paper forms are at MICA Postal & Print in Bunting, or at any US Post Office.

CTA Participants: CTA (formerly Urban Teachers), if you are using a USPS change of address form, please forward from your old address to:

  • NEW THIS YEAR: when you forward mail from your current residence, you will also need to preset ID at any US Post Office, in person, for the mail forwarding request to go through.
  • PLEASE DO NOT FORWARD MAIL TO OR FROM MICA'S MAIN ADDRESS (1300 OR 1401 W MOUNT ROYAL AVE). It will not work or potentially create problems for MICA's mail.
 
Voter Registration and Other Default Addresses

If you registered to vote in Baltimore City or requested an absentee ballot to your campus address, please update your voter registration to reflect your current or home street address. Please delete your residence hall address from your Amazon profile, or wherever you regularly order from. Please update your bank, too.

Graduating Seniors

Congrats! You're entering the real world! You're on your way! As such, you can only continue to use MICA's address for packages (1401 W Mount Royal) through July 25th, 2024. After that, please change your shipping addresses on all your platforms (Amazon) to reflect your new street address or home address.

Please note: we do not wipe down or quarantine any packages. Please wash your hands after handling/touching boxes.

Staff and faculty: 

  • Can ship business/college packages and personal mailing (including pre-labeled drop-offs)
  • For classroom prints: please go digital, then use your department copier/admin, then email us a pdf of your classroom materials for delivery to your locus with 2-24 hours advance notice
  • You can buy stamps and ship packages and pay with card or cash

MICA Closings

MICA is closed for New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day and two days at Thanksgiving and two days at Christmas. For Inclement weather closings, please take note of Alert Banners in Red for more information. We also close periodically for inclement weather. Please check mica.edu or call 410-225-2202.

Postal & Print Products and Services

MICA Postal & Print Services pledges to serve the business shipping needs of the college. We also provide services such as:

  • color and black & white printing
  • copies from a paper or electronic originals
  • laminating
  • local, long-distance, and international faxing services 
  • variety of shipping and paper supplies

MICA Postal & Print Services serves the MICA community with campus-wide mail delivery and pick-up. As a current undergraduate student living off-campus, you can have packages delivered to Postal & Print and pick them up during hours of operation.

Current USPS Postage Rates

MICA Postal & Print Services would like to remind you that postage rates went up on on January 22, 2024  for the US Postal Service. There was a USPS  Rate Increase on July 14, 2024.

1st Class Letter/Forever Stamp: $0.73
Postcard Stamps: $0.55
International Stamps: $1.65
Priority Flat Rate Envelope: $9.85
Express Flat Rate Envelope:  $30.45

FedEx 1 p.m. - for larger packages, we have to call for a 2-hour pick-up window
