Statement

Freya Li was born and raised in Beijing, China. Freya studied illustration at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), located in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Freya enjoys illustration as a form of storytelling, and her feelings are reflected in her work of the stories and poems that she read. Freya loves to work with multimedia, which sometimes creates an interesting texture to her work. Freya likes to challenge herself with multimedia experiments such as book art and printmaking and hopes to lead the viewer inside her world and create more curiosity in the viewers.
