Dolphin Design Center

The Dolphin Design Center fabrication labs are accessible to all enrolled students during regularly scheduled open shop hours.

The Dolphin Shops are home to a suite of analog and digital fabrication tools. In the first floor Fabrication Lab there is a woodshop,  machining equipment including mills & lathes and the MultiCAM Classic CNC router.  In the fourth floor Digital Fabrication Lab there are 8 FDM (FFF) 3d printers, Einscan SP turntable structured light scanner, and two 18"x32" CO2 laser cutters.

The Dolphin Design Center shops were outfitted with the Game Design, Product Design, and Architectural Design programs in mind, but are open to all enrolled students at MICA.

With additional collaborative areas and classrooms, the Center supports the diverse, often multidisciplinary ways in which creative makers now work.
