CAC MEMBER APPLICATIONS
CAC Member applications for the 2022-23 Program Year are now OPEN!
The Priority deadline for CAC member applications is May 31, 2022. Applications after this date will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Please note: This application is only for applicants who are not enrolling in a graduate program at MICA at this time.

The CAC Application includes:
- A cover letter that specifically describes why you are interested in the CAC program
- Your updated Resume/CV
- A digital portfolio (one PDF) containing images of your artwork, community arts projects, and/or teaching samples

About Being a CAC Member
CAC Members will be placed in year-long residencies at community arts organizations in Baltimore City. CAC Members will develop curriculum, teach classes & workshops, and assist in the evaluation of programs. CAC Members may also have the opportunity to design and implement community projects and special events, contribute to organizational outreach, assist with administrative duties, and support their host site organizations in many ways. Applicants who have experience teaching art to youth will be prioritized in the review process.
Details to Note
- Finalists will be asked to do some research on our Partner Organizations in preparation for an interview. Applicants should be available for an interview in person or via Zoom in June 2022.
- The AmeriCorps Service year commitment for selected applicants would begin the last week of August 2022 and run through mid-August 2023.
- CAC's program year is contingent on approval of funds from AmeriCorps.
