Returning to Fall 2020 Survey

Please find the results of the Returning to Fall Survey below.
The Returning to Fall Semester survey gathered responses between Monday, August 3rd, and Friday, August 14th. Results were shared with MICA's community of staff and faculty on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020.

Thank you to everyone who was able to complete this survey and share with the MICA community the challenges, fears, and growth that you have experienced over the last few months amidst this global pandemic.

We know that time is a precious commodity, and that our request for your feedback was, in some cases, beyond the scope of your capacity.

The Great Colleges Steering Committee (GCSC) was a group created to make MICA a better place to work. With the COVID-19 pandemic dramatically affecting everyone personally and professionally, the Communications Subcommittee of the GCSC realized that we needed to proactively ask staff and faculty what happened for them this spring and summer as well as what people were thinking about in regards to Fall semester 2020.

Please review the following for the results of the survey:

MICA Mood
Some thanked us for the question to provide an image for your feelings about this fall while others were confused why we asked. As an art and design school we wanted to acknowledge that writing is not the only way to express oneself. Please see the compiled images below. Unfortunately we were not able to include those that were video, that didn't render easily, or could easily trigger those viewing.
