
Brown Center
MICA's Brown Center is a contemporary, soaring glass building. On the first level, the starkly beautiful four-story Leidy Atrium can accommodate parties, cocktail receptions, and pre- or post-performance receptions. Cohen Plaza, a beautifully landscaped plaza with a large fountain, is at the entrance to Brown Center and may be tented for events.

Main Building
The classic Main Building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1906 with a grant from Andrew Carnegie after the Maryland Institute’s downtown building was destroyed in the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904. It has a magnificent marble grand staircase opening into the central three-story Main Court. The marble, mosaic floor, and balcony make a wonderful setting for a party. Large and small studios adjoining the Main Court provide excellent occasion spaces and staging areas for support services for all events.

Gateway
The Gateway Residence Hall marks the entrance to MICA’s campus and the nearby Station North Arts & Entertainment District.
