MICA Event Spaces

MICA can accommodate smaller conferences, meetings, dinners, and weddings. Films and symposia are also great options in our performance spaces.

Brown Center

MICA's Brown Center is a contemporary, soaring glass building. On the first level, the starkly beautiful four-story Leidy Atrium can accommodate parties, cocktail receptions, and pre- or post-performance receptions. Cohen Plaza, a beautifully landscaped plaza with a large fountain, is at the entrance to Brown Center and may be tented for events.
Event Spaces Include:
- Leidy Atrium
- Falvey Hall Auditorium
- Falvey Hall Lobby
- Brown 320 (Lecture Hall)

Main Building

The classic Main Building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1906 with a grant from Andrew Carnegie after the Maryland Institute’s downtown building was destroyed in the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904. It has a magnificent marble grand staircase opening into the central three-story Main Court. The marble, mosaic floor, and balcony make a wonderful setting for a party. Large and small studios adjoining the Main Court provide excellent occasion spaces and staging areas for support services for all events.
Event Spaces Include:
- Main Court
- M 110
- M 140

Gateway

The Gateway Residence Hall marks the entrance to MICA’s campus and the nearby Station North Arts & Entertainment District.
Event Spaces Include:
