Office of Events COVID-19 Update
Curricular and co-curricular in-person engagements will be allowed with some modifications or restrictions, and gatherings must follow MICA’s Indoor Auditorium & Large Meeting Spaces guidelines for Fall 2021.
On-campus visitor access is restricted to essential visitors only as the campus is closed to members of the public and family members. See the On-Campus Visitation Policy page for comprehensive definitions of allowed visitors and associated procedures.
Masks are required indoors on campus including in all meeting spaces. Eating and drinking is only allowed in designated areas.
Should conditions allow for visitors to come onto campus and to host external events, the following will be required of all guests ages 5 and up visiting the MICA Campus:
- Guests will be required to be pre-registered with the event organizer prior to the event.
- All Guests must be fully-Vaccinated and boosted, if eligible.
- Guests who are not vaccinated must bring a negative PRC-Test within 72-hours of their visit to campus.
- All attendees will be required to wear KN95-type masks.
- There is no eating or drinking (except sips of water) at events. With approval from the Office of Events, Event guests may request the non-exclusive use of the tents on campus for dining.
MICA’s Office of Events is charged with scheduling, coordinating, managing, and supporting all events on campus. The office works closely with every department, division, and program to ensure that events reflect MICA’s core values to all guests and community members in attendance. Additionally, the office works with outside clients who rent MICA spaces for their events, and the office works directly with these clients to create a memorable experience at MICA.
