Grant for Faculty Research and Creative Development

The Grant for Faculty Research and Creative Development provides funding up to $5,000 to support larger-scale artistic and scholarly projects, research travel and stay for academic or creative work, and bodies of work with significant material expenses. This grant aims to help faculty initiate projects and supports significant expenses or significant time in the form of a course release, beginning in AY18

Marcella Brenner Grants for Faculty Research Development

Marcella Brenner Grants for Faculty Research Development fund projects that contribute to the faculty member's professional, artistic, or scholarly research and development.

The Stanley Rosen Memorial Endowment for Faculty Development

The Stanley Rosen Faculty Development Endowment in 1998 with a gift from Madalyn Rosen through the Rosen-Gold Family Philanthropic Fund in memory of Madalyn's husband, Stanley Rosen.

This grant of $500 is awarded annually to a deserving faculty member who is identified by the Grants Committee from their review of the spring applications for the Brenner Grants for Faculty Development & Research.

The Adjunct Faculty Professional Development Fund

This professional development fund is specifically for adjunct faculty established as part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between MICA and SEIU Local 500, August 2015-June 30, 2018. With the ratification of the new Agreement in October, 2018 the total amount of this funding was increased from $6,667 to $12,500 per year, and the amount that an individual could receive in a single year was increased from $600 to $1000.
