Statement

The healing power of storytelling inspires me. Stories are how we come to understand ourselves and the world around us. The way we feel influences the environments we inhabit, and our emotions impact how our experiences and memories shape our lives. Creating a visual atmosphere to reflect a psychological space allows me to connect, process, and find meaning in experiences that are not easily communicated. My work evokes past traumas, lost loved ones, and joyful  childhood memories. Nature is a reoccurring aesthetic in my work which reflects the comfort I find in believing that death is not the end of consciousness, but instead a transference of energy.
