Photography (Major)

The Wilgus Gallery is a student-run organization for all who are enthusiastic about photography and related ideas. The membership is responsible for organizing, curating, and facilitating exhibitions of student work, as well as supplemental programming. Exhibitions provide many opportunities for necessary experience as artists, curators, and exhibition support staff.

We are in the process of becoming a formally-recognized Center for Student Engagement student organization.  Watch this space for more information and opportunities to get involved.

The Gallery has been an integral part of the department for decades as the Woodward Gallery and was renamed and dedicated to Professor Emeritus Jack Wilgus, who taught in our department for over 40 years, at his retirement.
