Tai Chi - Mondays at 7 PM

Tai Chi

Tai Chi (literally “supreme ultimate palm”) and Qigong (an energy cultivation exercise pronounced “cheegung”) help participants cultivate physical and mental balance and circulate and restore their chi, or “life force energy.” Tai Chi dates back 450 years to the Chen Village in China. The original Yang style “long form” (108 movements) emerged in the late 19th century but was shortened to 24 moves and made more uniform in 1960s China. We will be focused on the 24 Movement form. Over the duration of the course, we will study basic principles as well as moving Qigong exercises that will help to strengthen internal organs and the immune system.

Zumba - Fridays at 7:00 PM

Zumba

Zumba is an effective, fun and downright addictive workout. Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music and find yourself in shape at the original dance-fitness party. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you'll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating.

Yoga – Wednesdays, 5:30 PM & Sunday, 11:30 AM
