Quantum Corpus is the first experimental solo exhibition by Brooklyn-based artist Terranc­­­e James Jr. The exhibition presents a cross-section of photographic and sculptural works produced within the last five years, to create an immersive site-specific installation. James postulates that the scientific possibilities of genetic manipulation and the evolution of human physiology, while navigating the social context that complicates these endeavors. Through this, James examines the beauty in material decomposition and the process of bioengineering the human form.
