Statement

Ella Snow is an artist who mainly works with sculpture. Her work, whimsical and energetic in both form and color, is not to be interpreted literally. It is inspired by her perception and reaction to the everyday situations of life—including movement, time, and change. Her pieces are reactions to different people, places, and events in her life. She expresses her perception of these ideas through the use of different materials, forms, and colors.  She often creates drawings in space through the use of line and abstracted, biomorphic forms. Although the works are tied to the artist's life and experiences, it asks to be interpreted independently and personally by the viewer so they might also reflect on the world around them daily.
