Statement
The Maryland Institute Black Archives (MIBA) is the premier resource for Black history and culture at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). The repository discovers and exhibits MICA’s Black History from the 1800s to the present. Its newly redesigned online platform features online exhibitions and an accessible interactive database. MIBA will also host a series of monthly public programs connecting the Baltimore and MICA communities to the richness, power, and creativity of their shared Black history.
