Brown Center, an innovative facility for the study of digital visual arts whose design received wide acclaim, was the College’s first newly constructed academic building in nearly 100 years when it opened. Brown Center houses classroom & studio space for Animation, Interaction Design & Art, Video & Film Arts, and both graduate & undergraduate Graphic Design. With the opening of Brown Center, MICA gained a new, state-of-the-art 525-seat auditorium, Falvey Hall, which significantly expanded the range of events programming that the College could offer, including co-presentations in collaboration with a wide array of performing arts and cultural organizations in the region.
