The Writing Studio

Spring-2021 Information:

 

ALL Writing Studio sessions will remain virtual. Students can arrange up to two 50-minute virtual tutorials per week using our Calendly site: calendly.com/micaws   Once you have scheduled an appointment, your tutor will contact you by email to arrange the preferred delivery method.

Spring 2021 Writing Studio Hours, Eastern Standard Time in the United States:

Mondays & Tuesdays: 10am to 8pm

Wednesdays: 10am to 8pm; & 9pm to 2am Thursday morning

Thursdays: 11am to 7pm; & 9pm to 2am Friday morning

Fridays: 11am to 4pm

Saturdays: starting in mid-March

Sundays: noon to 6pm  

Tutors Ashley Guchhait and Kyrstin Cooksey will offer tutoring during late-night hours to accommodate students presently living in other time zones. Their Calendly schedules can be accessed here: calendly.com/micaws

Welcome

The Writing Studio offers over 90 hours of tutorials per week in the fall and spring semesters. Specifically, we provide one-on-one tutoring, campus-wide and in-class workshops, and instructional resources designed to bolster the written and verbal communication skills of MICA students.

Our experienced team of professional tutors is here to assist students with a wide variety of writing projects—at any stage of the writing process. We also support our English Language Learners in facets related to written and conversational English. Our tutorials last 50 minutes and start at the top of the hour.

Schedule an Introduction:
