PT 5666 Special Topic: Quarantine Book

This course provides an introduction to book design, a primer on graphic design principles, and instruction on InDesign software in order to produce a professional-quality catalog to be printed in early 2021. Through discussion, curation, iterative editing of text and image, students collaborate to create a print publication of works they produced during the off-campus spring of 2020 – working title: The Quarantine Book. In addition, skills developed in this elective course will allow students to create print catalogs of their thesis work in their final semester. Hoffberger second-years only.
