Internships
Internships are a great way to get experience, network and explore your options. We can help you with search strategies, resources and approaches as well as tailor your materials to specific opportunities.
Please note, our busiest times of the year are during the beginning and end of each semester, at which time, expect a two to three week wait for the next available appointment.
Stop by the office in Gateway 200 for PCA Drop-in Hours, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00pm-3:30pm. You can also schedule a virtual appointment with PCAs, we now have day and evening appointments available. Please note PCAs do not hold Drop-in Hours May-August.
Appointments with career counselors are limited to students and alumni of MICA's degree-bearing programs. Due to the volume of appointments and availability of our counselors, students are limited to 80 minutes with their career counselor per semester. Any combination of 20 minute and/or 40 minute appointments that reaches no more than 80 minutes is allowed. PCA, internship registration, UP/Start, and Fulbright appointments do not count toward the per-semester limit.
24-Hour Cancellation Policy
We are now enforcing a 24-hour cancellation policy. Please email our office to cancel or reschedule your appointment no later than 24-hours prior to your appointment time. A missed appointment without notification will count as one of your appointments.
