First Time Setup (Required)
Before you can release your print jobs, you must register your MICA account on an Imprint printer.
Tap your MICA student or staff ID card on the printer’s card reader to link it to your account.
You only need to do this once.
Log in using your:
- MICA Username
- MICA Password
Enter your username and password on the printer screen and select Log In / OK.
If successful, you will see options such as:
- Print Release
- Access Device
- Scan
Your account is now ready to use.

8.5" × 11" (Letter) – standard documents, assignments

11" × 17" (Tabloid) – larger layouts, posters
MICA Issued Devices
Note: MICA Imprint is preinstalled on MICA-issued devices. You do not need to install drivers or add the printer.
How to Print
- Open your document and select Print
- Choose MICA Imprint as the printer
- Go to any Imprint printer
- Tap your MICA ID card or sign in with your MICA username
- Select Print Release

Troubleshooting
Printer Not Showing Up

Make sure you are connected to MICA Open Wi-Fi

Restart your computer and try adding the printer again

Install the printer driver if prompted
Cannot Release Print Job

Confirm you completed the First Time Setup at the printer

Tap your MICA ID card to log in

Verify the print job was sent to MICA Imprint
Card Not Working

Try logging in using your MICA username and password
