Statement
"Sixteen Los Angeles Bike Rides" is a road atlas for inexperienced cyclists, designed to help them locate safe and enjoyable streets to ride on. The process of selecting each route involved analyzing multiple datasets to measure safety, surveying cyclists, and parsing through thousands of rows of Flickr image metadata to determine the enjoyability of every street.
