General Application Procedures
Applicants to all MICA graduate degree and certificate programs submit application forms and most supporting documentation online at mica.slideroom.com. Applicants to the Design Leadership (MBA/MA) offered in conjunction with John Hopkins University's Carey Business School apply via the JHU online application. Please note that each graduate program has unique application requirements and guidelines. Candidates may apply to multiple programs but must complete and submit a unique application for each.
An application fee is assessed on the first application at the submission stage in SlideRoom. Subsequent applications require a processing fee, but not a full application fee.
Academic Documents & Transcripts
Applicants to all programs must send official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. The Office of Graduate Admission can accept official e-transcripts provided by a registrar. E-transcripts can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise, all transcripts must be sent in sealed, institution issued envelopes. The Office of Graduate Admission recommends gathering all transcripts in institution-issued envelopes and submitting them in a single parcel to ensure their arrival and timely processing. Please note that many institutions require several weeks to prepare transcripts. All applicants are encouraged to request transcripts well in advance of the application deadline.
Send all hard-copy transcripts to:

Applicants who are not US citizens or permanent residents must submit additional documentation. A full list of required materials for international candidates is available here.
