2017-18 Admission Procedures & Deadlines for All Graduate Applicants

How to Apply

Online Application Form

Applicants to all MICA graduate degree and certificate programs submit application forms and most supporting documentation online at MICA's SlideRoom portal. Please note that each graduate program has unique application requirements and guidelines. Candidates are encouraged to apply to multiple programs but must complete and submit a unique application for each.

Applicants interested in the Design Leadership (MBA/MA) joint degree with Johns Hopkins University's Carey Business School should refer to this page for application requirements

Academic Documents & Transcripts

For the online component of the application, candidates will be asked to upload a digital transcript (official or unofficial) from their last degree-bearing instituation. Transcripts can be scanned copies of print documents or digital copies provided by the institution. Official transcripts are not required as a component of the initial application, however the Graduate Review Committee may request additional materials or verification at any time during the process. For more information on obtaining a digital transcript, consult your school's registrar's office.

International Applicants

Applicants who are not US citizens or permanent residents must submit additional documentation. A full list of required materials for international candidates is available here.
