FYE Registration
Consider FYE Fast Forward
Three Core Courses to choose from / Four weeks on campus beginning in July
- Experience smaller class sizes, even with MICA’s already low faculty to student ratio.
- Focus on one class and one set of projects.
- Spend dedicated time in a MICA studio on the weekends.
- Build relationships with other students and faculty before the first day of school.

When considering your Fall Elective, be sure to check out these programs. Each require specific courses for interested students.
All new first year students should submit their Pre-Advising Questionnaire as soon as possible.
Housing Registration opens June 1.
Accessibility and Disability Services will review requests for accommodations for FYE Fast Forward and fall courses beginning June 1.
Consider FYE Fast Forward. Register by June 8.
New Student Orientation begins August 18.
FYE registration is on a rolling basis, with courses filled on a first come/first serve basis. All students are encouraged to reach out to their assigned advisor with any questions.
All courses at MICA require specific enrollment in order to be offered. MICA retains the right to cancel or reschedule a course as necessary and will notify affected students.
Note that FYE Fast Forward is an OPTIONAL program.
All FYE Fast Forward courses are core courses in the First Year Experience program at MICA. As with any course at MICA, FYE Fast Forward courses require specific enrollment in order to run. MICA retains the right to place student in any of the three courses offered and/or cancel a course if enrollment is not met.
