Statement
Alice Xinhe Yuan was born in Xi’an, China. She came to the United States at the age of fourteen and attended high school in San Francisco. She is currently in the senior year of her bachelor’s degree in Illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
Through Alice’s experiences of working on numerous academic and personal projects, she has developed strong creative thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. She also possesses a special interest in bookmaking and aim to become a book illustrator.
