Reporting Injuries and Other Incidents

1. How to Report an Injury

  • Seek immediate medical attention if the injury is life-threatening, call 911.

  • On-the-job injury or illness may be covered under the College's workers' compensation insurance policy. If one of your direct reports reports an on-the-job injury or illness, report the incident to Campus Safety immediately. Campus Safety will complete the On-Campus Incident Report form and submit the form to Human Resources. Human Resources will review the incident report and file a workers' compensation claim on your behalf, if necessary.

2. How to Report Harassment

  • Direct Reporting: Speak directly to the Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Title IX Coordinator.

  • Online Reporting: Fill out the MICA online reporting form to securely file equity-related complaints.

  • Confidentiality: All faculty and staff, except for Student Health and the Counseling Center, are reporters and must report instances of sexual misconduct.
