Yes! International students can apply for all iLEAD positions, and many are open for Graduate Students as well.
Please note the following restrictions before accepting an iLEAD position:
Hours Per Week: Students must be aware that they cannot accept multiple positions that would regularly have them working more than 20 hours per week. This includes work-study positions, hourly positions, other campus positions, and all iLEAD roles. Please review each position’s job description carefully to see how many hours per week will be expected of you.
High Capacity Roles: Students cannot hold more than one “High Capacity Role” during the year/semester. High Capacity Roles include:
- Program Director (CSE)
- Lead FMF (CSE)
- Wellness Coordinator (MICA Wellness)
- Director & Assistant Director of Fashion Show (CII)
- DC Peer Educators (CII)
- Residential Assistant (ResLife)
Individual Roles: Due to training and time conflicts, the following roles cannot be held during the same year/semester unless approved by both departments.
- Orientation Leader (CSE) & Residential Assistant (ResLife)
- Wellness Coordinator (MICA Wellness) & Program Manager (CSE)
- DC Peer Educator (CII) & Program Manager (CSE)
For any positions that have compensation students must complete the following on or prior to their first day: an I-9 form, federal and state tax forms, and a direct deposit form. By law, students must complete the Employment Eligibility Form (I-9) and show acceptable documents that prove your identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
