MICA’s Creative Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation Art Market

The Ratcliffe Center for Creative Entrepreneurship (RCCE) at MICA will host the 2nd annual Creative Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation (CESI) Conference on October 2-3, 2026. In concert with MICA’s 200th year anniversary, this two-day event will bring together scholars and practitioners to examine how creative ideas are shaped, built, and brought to life. This year’s theme is Envisioning the Creative Economy: Define It, Create It, Impact It! For the first time, CESI is hosting an art market on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 from 3-7 PM to showcase creative entrepreneurship in practice through art, design, and making! This market is free and open to the public, regardless of purchasing a ticket to the larger conference. This program is sponsored by the Philip E. & Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation and hosted by the Maryland Institute College of Art, Ratcliffe Center for Creative Entrepreneurship.
