DESCRIPTION:The Ratcliffe Center for Creative Entrepreneurship (RCCE) at MICA will host the 2nd annual Creative Entrepreneurship &amp\; Social Innovation (CESI) Conference on October 2-3\, 2026. In concert with MICA&rsquo\;s 200th year anniversary\, this two-day event will bring together scholars and practitioners to examine how creative ideas are shaped\, built\, and brought to life. This year&rsquo\;s theme is Envisioning the Creative Economy: Define It\, Create It\, Impact It! For the first time\, CESI is hosting an art market on Saturday\, October 3rd\, 2026 from 3-7 PM to showcase creative entrepreneurship in practice through art\, design\, and making! This market is free and open to the public\, regardless of purchasing a ticket to the larger conference. This program is sponsored by the Philip E. &amp\; Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation and hosted by the Maryland Institute College of Art\, Ratcliffe Center for Creative Entrepreneurship.
