Given current conditions, MICA will operate on a normal schedule today, December 15, 2025, with liberal leave in effect. Faculty and staff who will be taking liberal leave should notify their department or supervisors.

Liberal leave means that an employee can use their individual accrued leave (personal, floating, or vacation) for hours not worked today, December 15, to accommodate their individual situation during a weather event. If an individual decides to take leave or if a telework employee needs to flex their working hours, it is expected that they will inform and communicate with their department or supervisors so that appropriate coverage and planning can occur. As always, if you are sick, you are able to use your available sick leave.
