MICA's Cost of Attendance (COA) represents an estimate of the total educational costs a student may incur during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 academic year. The COA includes both direct costs billed by the college and indirect educational expenses students may reasonably incur while enrolled.

MICA provides three undergraduate budget categoies based on a student's living arrangement:
1) Students living in campus housing
2) Students living off campus
3) Students living with a parent

For students living in campus housing, the housing allowance is based on a standard double occupancy room rate. The food allowance includes MICA's standard meal plan estimate of approximately $4,300,  along with an additional allowance for food and basic living expenses.

In Addition to tuition, fees, housing, and food, the Cost of Attendance also includes estimated allowances for books, course materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, miscellaneous personal expenses, and federal loan fees.

These budgets are intended to provide a reasonable estimate of educational expenses for financial aid eligibility purposes and may not reflect a student's actual billed charges or personal spending choices.
