If it becomes necessary for a student to withdraw from the college, the student begins the process by contacting the head of their department.
It is important to understand all the consequences of withdrawal. Students receiving federal aid funds will be directed to the Financial Aid Office for Exit Counseling and any required calculations regarding the return of federal student loan funds.
The following refund schedule applies to these graduate programs:

Tuition refunds are based upon the time elapsed between the first day of the semester and the last date of attendance.
- 100% tuition refund if the student withdraws during the first week of classes
- 80% tuition refund if the student withdraws during the second week of classes
- 40% tuition refund if the student withdraws during the third or fourth week of classes
- No tuition refund if the student withdraws after the fourth week of classes
Fees are not refundable.

Tuition refunds are based upon the number of weeks that have elapsed between the first day of class and the last date of attendance.
- 100% tuition refund if the student withdraws during the first two weeks of classes
- No refund if the student withdraws after the second week of classes.
