Sara Kaltwasser is the Associate Director of Community Art & Service at MICA. She has a BFA in Painting from Pacific Northwest College of Art as well as an MFA in Community Art from MICA. Sara Kaltwasser has worked in the Community Art & Art Education field for over 20 years.  Her primary role is to connect MICA students, staff and faculty to the broader Baltimore community through leadership opportunities as well as strong community partnerships.

Marissa Vazhappilly received their BFA in Animation from MICA and has been working to support program facilitation on campus since they were a student. Now, they support student employees, advise student organizations, help lead the Annual Benefit Fashion Show, and manage programs and day-to-day activities. In their spare time they’re a mixed media animator and try to make and mend their own clothes.
