Student Involvement in Leadership

The making of a good leader is not something that is inherited. It takes practice and the development of a unique set of skills that empower you to make ethical and positive changes in your community.

We hope that you take a few minutes to review some of the wonderful involvement opportunities described to you throughout this section of the website. Whether you are a first-year student or a senior, it's never too early or too late to get involved.

Visit ileadmica.com to learn about a variety of involvement opportunities at MICA. Take the first step in getting involved by taking the Involvement Survey. Once you've selected the different areas you want to be involved with, those respective offices will contact you with more information.

You may also want to take some time to talk with the staff and students who work in those areas; this will help you find the right fit for you. Be sure to keep an eye on ileadmica.com for information sessions, workshops and application deadlines. Applications for many of these positions will be available in early spring. Some applications are available all year. Don't wait, get involved today.
