This toolkit guides faculty through the process of developing and delivering a partnered course—from identifying an opportunity and developing a partnership through course planning, agreements, funding, communications, and post-course reflection.
The resources are organized around the lifecycle of a partnered course. Some are intended for faculty, while others are designed to be completed collaboratively with an external partner or shared directly with the partner. Each resource indicates how it should be used.
Faculty are not expected to navigate institutional processes independently. The Design + Innovation Hub coordinates the administrative and operational support needed to move partnered courses forward, working with relevant MICA offices as needed so faculty can focus on designing and delivering meaningful educational experiences.

A Shared Approach
Partnered courses are built on collaboration between faculty, students, external partners, and the Design + Innovation Hub. The goal is not simply to bring an external project into the classroom, but to create meaningful learning experiences while building relationships that can grow into future opportunities.
