The Executive Assistant for Student Affairs is responsible for the day-to-day management of active workflow for the Vice President, the Associate Vice President for Student Health and Wellness, the Associate Dean of Student Integrated Learning, and the Student Development Specialist.
Gabrielle J. Gomez has been in the Executive Assistant role for Student Affairs since October 2018. In this role, Gabrielle graciously works as a liaison between departmental staff members, students, parents, and the external community. She handles a variety of confidential and sensitive issues that require intricate problem solving and routes all issues of concern appropriately. Gabrielle routinely provides assistance to students and parents related to various Student Affairs policies and procedures as well as manages department budgets, travel arrangements, catering needs, and other administrative tasks.
Gabrielle received her B.F.A in Dance, with a concentration in Education, from The Ohio State University. She shares her vast knowledge of the performing arts with the MICA community by serving as the Stage Manager for the Benefit Fashion Show. Gabrielle also shares her creative talents by providing tarot card readings as a part of the Wellness Fair!
