FAQ: Fall 2020 Programming

Below you will find common questions related to the Office of Open Studies Fall 2020 Programming.

For the safety of our students, faculty, and staff, we will continue our fall courses on remote platforms. MICA will provide all necessary software, and we will work with you to make sure you are adequately prepared for each course or class.

We concluded our remote Summer 2020 programming on August 8, which reached over 300 students of all ages and disciplines across states and countries, as well as over 40 faculty and staff and have utilized the research, lessons learned, and feedback from these experiences to move confidently into the Fall term remotely. In addition, the Office of Open Studies has more than 20 years of providing remote instruction in both degree and non-degree programming.

We acknowledge the difficulty and transformation it requires to teach and learn art and design practices and skills without being in person, while understanding the need for community interaction as well as critique, and are excited that you are embarking on this journey alongside us.
