Assistant Director of Student Involvement

Ask Me About:  iLEAD, Student Space Galleries and MICA Programming Board

Born and raised in Seattle, WA, Jacque (she/her) comes from a large family full of artists, writers, musicians, and social justice advocates. She attended Western Washington University and received her B.A. in Sociology and M. Ed. in Adult and Higher Education. Her past professional experience lies in youth in government leadership, mental health counseling, event planning, administrative work, and classroom education. She has a passion for creating collaborative and gracious spaces to foster strong communities within higher education.

Jacque has a cat named Lacey, and a pit/lab mix named Ruthie, who you’ll see periodically lounging in the CSE office. She has a love for all forms of art and has dabbled in sculpture, painting, ceramics, ink work, and is currently practicing tattooing. She enjoys reading murder mystery and psychological thriller novels. Her all-time favorite shows are Arrested Development, Bojack Horseman, Charmed (the OG), Psych, Gilmore Girls, Seinfeld, Community, Sex Education, and Insecure. In her office, she is usually bumping some alternative R&B or listening to the latest This American Life episode.

She is incredibly excited to support the wonderful students at MICA, overseeing the MICA Program Board, iLEAD, and Student Space Galleries. Stop by and say hello!
