Influenced at an early age by her mother, she was exposed to artful expression and creativity. This inspired and enabled the pursuit of an education and career as an artist. She received a B.F.A. in Fabric Design from Syracuse University, following a Foundation year at MICA. The exposure to a curriculum in fine arts, fabric design and weaving inspired a lifelong career of creating and making purposeful and narrative tapestries for many nonprofit institutions and private art collections. Her tapestries are permanently displayed in health care facilities, educational campuses and places of worship.
