Marypat English P’23 (Parent Trustee)

Marypat English, head of Institutional Sales for Wells Fargo Securities’ Midwest and Denver regions has enjoyed an extensive career in the financial services industry.  In this role, she is specifically responsible for building, aligning and growing Wells Fargo’s client relationships.  Prior to joining Wells Fargo predecessor Wachovia in 2006, Marypat was the Midwest regional sales manager for Prudential Securities.  A lifelong advocate of equality, Marypat is a committed member of their DE&I Council, founded the Windy City Women’s network, and continues seek, train and mentor diverse talent.

As a former Trustee at The Chicago Academy for the Arts (CAA), Marypat chaired the development committee, provided a forum to bring in keynote speakers to enhance the parent community and was an integral part of re-engaging CAA alum with the school.  At Wells Fargo, she created a forum to highlight the work of local artists and featured the work of Gerald Griffin (The Paradigm Shift Continues), the traveling show for the Illinois High School Art Exhibition as well as The Art of Influence:  Breaking Criminal Traditions.



Marypat received her B.A. from Manhattan College and her M.B.A. from Boston College Wallace E Carroll Graduate School of Management.  She is a native of New York but calls Chicago her home.  Marypat has three children – Olivia (MICA ’23), Clare (Georgetown ’24) and Luke (Jones College Prep ’25).  Marypat is a first-degree black belt, a level-one certified instructor in Taekwondo and is an active member of her communities.
