The Center for Mission & Community Learning provides strategic leadership for the MICA community (faculty, staff & students) in developing a creative comprehensive institutional framework. We focus on introducing emerging creative practices to move the institution forward in becoming a more welcoming learning and working environment for all.

We are dedicated to supporting the entire student body and the development of students at MICA. Through workshops, mentorship, partnerships with the Baltimore community, and leadership, we provide students with the space and resources to thrive as artists, students, and citizens of the world. MICA leads by building strong relationships with the local creative communities, neighborhoods and regional organizations in a manner which builds inclusive and substantive partnerships.
