SMCM - MICA Artist House Teaching Fellowship

The St. Mary's College of Maryland - MICA - Artist House Teaching Fellow Residency (one semester) is designed for an emerging artist/teacher to gain early teaching experience with undergraduates within a liberal arts college environment and produce new creative work while in residence.

The Department of Art & Art History offers a program that integrates the study of studio art, art history, and art theory and students earn a B.A. in Art & Art History.

Eligibility

MFA from MICA from 2011-present are eligible. The successful candidate will be able to teach introductory drawing and painting courses to a student population that will include majors and non-majors with a wide range of previous art experience.
