You Mean This Much To Me is an exploration of the ways color connects to emotion. When using a limited palette, the color is emphasized; it helps guide the story and becomes just as important as the linework. Ink drawings from observation and imagination are often combined with pencil rubbings of items found inside of my living space and on walks. These two types of mark making open the audience to a fantastical space created by seemingly ordinary objects or events.
