The work in this annual exhibition is a selection of the best submissions from all four years of undergraduate students. From hundreds of entries, approximately 100 will be chosen in a variety of disciplines based on artistic merit, creativity, and vision.

This year, Kriston Capps and Cara Ober will serve as jurors. Capps is an award-winning journalist and critic. He is a staff writer for CityLab, the urbanism site for The Atlantic, where he writes about housing, architecture, and politics. His writing has appeared in The Washington Post, New York, Slate, The Guardian, and other publications. He writes as an art critic for Washington City Paper and Artforum.

Ober founded BmoreArt in 2007 to build awareness, equity, and community through critical dialogue about art and culture in Baltimore. The online publication has grown to include a bi-annual print journal, speaker series, events, and a family of writers and artists who contribute. BmoreArt has received grant funding from the Robert W. Deutsch Foundation, the Warhol Foundation, a Mellon Innovations Grant from Johns Hopkins University, and "Best of Baltimore" mentions from Baltimore Magazine in 2017, 2014 and 2007.
