DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday\, September 11th\, at the bridge\, the indoor exhibition space of MICA's gallery alley\, for the opening of &ldquo\;Piedmont Automata\,&rdquo\; featuring work by Bella Bailey. gallery alley is MICA's open-air gallery for art and ecology. Piedmont Automata features 16 pieces by Bella Bailey made entirely from objects found near Baltimore&rsquo\;s Jones Falls River\, as well as the city&rsquo\;s main source of drinking water\, the Loch Raven reservoir\, &ldquo\;Piedmont Automata&rdquo\; exposes the relationship between the industrial and ecological landscapes of Baltimore City. The use of organic and artificial materials\, such as insects and camera lenses\, invites the viewer into curious and intimate interactions with the objects that make up the Baltimorean landscape. The exhibition will be on display in the bridge from September 11&thinsp\;&ndash\;&thinsp\;December 10\, 2026. Opening reception food provided by Mera Kitchen Collective
